A Summer Military Beret
The Monty Tropic Beret is made of the patented Tropic fabric, a blend of polyester and chlorofibre that is soft and foldable, but also lightweight and vented. It is water-resistant and provides UV protection to the scalp and upper face. Try dunking it in cold water for a refreshing sensation!
The Monty Tropic Beret is named after Field Marshal Montgomery, Second World War commander and hero of El Alamein, nicknamed “Monty”. He was known for favoring the soldier-like beret to the overly pompous Field Marshal cap that clearly marked him as a prime target from afar.
The Monty Tropic Beret is still made the same way the Kangol brand made them for the British army decades ago. Its military style and its soft, vented and durable construction make it perfect to face even the driest, hottest deserts!
