How to Clean a Magill Hat?
A fur felt hat requires a horsehair brush for dusting. Brush with short, vigorous strokes, going counterclockwise to follow the hat’s grain. Panama hats must be kept away from water as much as possible to avoid damage. If your hat is dirty or stained, first try rubbing the straw with a pencil eraser.
