How to Adjust a Cane for Walking?

To adjust your cane yourself, stand up straight and let your arms hang naturally by your sides. Measure the distance from the floor to the crease of your wrist. Then, measure the cane and subtract the measured wrist-to-floor distance.

Mark this distance on the cane, measuring from the bottom, and make a small mark to indicate where to cut.

Use a wood saw to carefully cut the cane, ensuring it is securely fixed to your work surface. Finally, reattach the rubber tip at the cut end.
